a day in the neighborhood

It was a lovely day yesterday - so we took advantage of it - got ourselves (well most of us) a slurpee and headed to the back yard!
Caleb had a great time too! Even without the slurpee!

cowtown update

So I've been in Cowtown for a bit ... hanging out with 'my friend' Joshua ... so I thought I'd fill you in, by way of pics, on how much fun we're having ...

a big thank you

A little late in coming ... but none-the-less I wanted to send a big thank you out to those who supported me and the 'walk for memories'. I actually finished the walk without having to be pushed in one of the strollers! It was a good day - a good experience. Thank you to those of you (you know who you are) who helped me raise $650.

And some of you might recall the 'tree' that I posted about a while back ... well, here it is in it's current season ...

I went to the Toronto Zoo last Friday with the relatives from London. We had a good time ... here's some pics of the animals (and various other things) we bumped into along the way

So I've decided to join my uncle and his family on Saturday on the Walk for Memories ... it'll be my first year ... it's a walk to help raise funds for the Alzheimer Society - a good cause that provides support to those who have been affected by the disease. It was time for more gardening today ... out in the back yard ...
I'm still not done back there - but I thought I'd give a sneak peek of what I actually got accomplished today - I won't be surprised if I end up with a green thumb after all this is said and done
